JLPT N4 | because / so
ので explains a reason politely and logically. It is softer than から and useful in reports or permission requests.

Examples
あめがふっているので、いえにいます。
雨が降っているので、家にいます。
Because it is raining, I will stay home.

Because the machine sound is strange, I will check it.

sswCommon Mistakes
- ✗ For nouns and な-adjectives, use なので.
- ✗ Do not overuse ので for excuses; state action clearly after it.
